Not at all! We welcome contestants at all levels - from beginners learning their first Yoruba words to fluent speakers. The show celebrates your journey with the language and culture, no matter where you are.

Our questions cover Yoruba culture, traditions, music, food, proverbs, history, and language. They range from fun and lighthearted to more challenging cultural knowledge - but always educational and entertaining!

You can win up to $2,000 depending on the round and your performance. But the real prize is the celebration of culture, new friendships, and unforgettable memories!

Plan for about 1.5 to 2 hours total. This includes production prep, makeup touch-ups to ensure you look great on camera, production photographs, and post-show interviews. The actual episode recording takes about 45 minutes. Refreshments are provided throughout, and we make sure you feel confident and ready to shine!

Absolutely! We love our global community. We're currently based in Dallas, Texas, and have exciting plans to visit other countries like Nigeria, Canada, and countries worldwide. When you register, you'll be prioritized when we visit your area.
